Fede Alvarez certainly had his fair share of skeptics ahead of his decision to direct Evil Dead – the remake of the original Sam Raimi cult classic from 1981. However having been greeted to a series of positive reviews, it seems such a decision has since proven to be a justified one, and we were fortunate enough to catch up with the Uruguayan director ahead of the films April 18 release.
