The Emily Brydon Youth Foundation is very proud to launch the 3rd Annual 12 Days of Christmas Online Auction on December 1st!

Fundraising is an essential part of running a successful non-profit organization. The Emily Brydon Youth Foundation has been known for hosting fun and engaging fundraising events such as the popular EBYF Golf Tournament, the EBYF Summer Social as well as the EBYF Art Auction at Island Lake Lodge. Not only do these types of events raise funds that go directly back to the community through supporting youth, they bring people together, create awareness about what EBYF does, and inspire individuals to get involved.

In 2020 with the arrival of COVID, we were all faced with new challenges. For EBYF, it was the challenge of how to continue to raise funds and support the youth of the Elk Valley. That is where the idea of a 12 Days of Christmas Online Auction came from. A core group of volunteers alongside their innovative leader, Emily, got to work creating a safe way to shop for the holidays and support an important local charity. The event is now in its third year, launching on December 1 at givergy.ca/EmilyBrydonYouthFoundation. Throughout the 12 days, auction items will be added, and also randomly close which keeps bidders on their toes as they vie for the perfect gift for their special someone.

A fun addition to the auction is Apres Cheesemas – an event held at Cirque on December 10 with live music, cheese tasting, raclette and the opportunity to purchase the perfect cheese box to celebrate the holidays this year.

Mark your calendars, make the link to the auction a favourite, and get ready for a fun way to give back to your community this holiday season.
