CUHAS Diploma Courses Entrance Requirements
MODE OF APPLICATION FOR APPLICANTS FOR THE DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES
Applicants should visit the CUHAS website, download and fill in the Application Form and submit their applications directly to the College. Please attach copies of your Form 4 (‘O’ Level), Form 6 (‘A’ Level), Birth Certificate and 2 passport-size photographs with a non-refundable application fee of Tshs. 30,000/- by a postal order or paid through the University Bank Account No. 01J1054045500 with CRDB.
(I) DIPLOMA IN PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES (DP)
a) Direct Entry (Pre-service) The entry qualification for this programme shall be holders of Cea Ceartificate of Secondary Education (CSEE) with four passes including a “Ca ” pass in Chemistry and Biology; and a “Da ” pass in Physics/Engineering Sciences and any other subject. PaA passing Mathematics and English will be an added advantage.
b) Equivalent qualifications (In-service): Pharmaceutical assistant (holder of NTA L5 certificate) with at least two years of working experience who has passed the lection examination recognized by NACTE.
(II) DIPLOMA IN MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCES (DMLS)
(a) Direct Entry (Pre-service) The entry qualification for this programme shall be holders of a Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE) with five passes including a “Ca ” pass in Chemistry and Biology; and a “Da ” papassn Physics/Engineering Sciences, Mathematics and English.
(b) Equivalent qualification (In-service): A holder of a Medical Laboratory Assistant Certificate trained through a knowledge-based Curriculum and Successfully the ageing programme (NTA Level 5 Semester 1 MoModule
(III) DIPLOMA IN DIAGNOSTIC RADIOGRAPHY (DDR)
a) Direct entry ((Pre-service) – The entry qualification for this programme shall the be holder of a Cecertificateef Secondary Education (CSEE) with four passes including g “Ca a ” pass in Physics/Engineering Sciences and Biology; and “Da a ” pass in Chemistry and any other subject. PaA passing Mathematics and English will be an added advantage.
b) Equivalent qualification ((In-service): – Radiographic Assistant from recognized institutions with at least two years experience in Radiographic practice provided the applicant has two passes in science subjects in ordinary level secondary education.
STUDENTS ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
For those who qualify and are selected
- Payment of a Non-Refundable registration fee to be determined by the University from time to time.
- Proof of ability to pay the Annual Fees set by the University. This may be through certified sponsorship or other written proof.
- Compliance with any other conditions that the University may deem appropriate.
