On February 22nd, 2018 the Schodack Police Department arrested 24 year old Harold Wolfersteig of Schodack, NY. Mr. Wolfersteig was arrested after officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute. Mr. Wolfersteig damaged his girlfriends vehicle with a hammer in violation of a no illegal contact order of protection and was also repeatedly obstructing traffic while officers were attempting to interview all parties. He was arrested and charged with the misdemeanors of Criminal Mischief in the fourth degree, Criminal Contempt in the second degree, a the violation of Disorderly Conduct. He was remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail with bail due to appear back in the Schodack Town Court.
