THE Patriotic Front (PF) in Livingstone District is optimistic that 2018 will be a successive year politically and economically.

Constituency chairperson Elias Mwila observed that 2017 had its ups and downs for Livingstone Constituency.

“As PF we had more questions than answers in 2017 but I am very positive and certain that the this will bring about more answers than questions,” he said.

Mr. Mwila said, “As a party we are not looking at problems as problems, but we are looking at them as questions which need answers. Our expectations this year are extremely high in terms of party mobilisation and women and youth empowerment.

“Our party is a pro-poor party hence the need to improve the lives of our people in the constituency, which is inevitable especially in 2018,” he said.

Mr. Mwila has also commended and encourage the general memberships to continue working hard and believe that the future is still bright.

“We recommit ourselves to maintaining the peace that we have enjoyed here in Livingstone Central Constituency. This has not been possible by us alone but the coexistence with our colleagues from other political parties.

“We commend them and pray that the same spirit continues in the 2018,” said Mr. Mwila

He also thanked the media and the Church in Livingstone for playing their critical role in informing and guiding in the community. “For us to know what is happening in our Constituency, the Media plays a very big role and as a party we would like to commend the media here in Livingstone,” he said.

You have really helped to maintain peace, and we have no doubt that even as we go towards 2021 you will remain professional as you have been,” he said.
