I’m so excited to roll out Episode #8 of the Restoring Fertility Naturally podcast with Dr. Naomi Whittaker, OBGYN! One of my goals with this podcast is to bring on experts in the field of restorative reproductive medicine (RRM). I have my personal experience with RRM, as well as RN head knowledge I can apply. But I know it’s invaluable to hear from those who are actively working in the field of RRM!

Episode #8 with Dr. Naomi Whittaker, OBGYN
Episode #8 is an almost hour-long, in-depth interview with Dr. Naomi Whittaker. She is a board-certified OBGYN and fellowship-trained surgeon who specializes in the Creighton Model FertilityCare System and NaProTECHNOLOGY. These modalities work cooperatively with a woman’s body to treat the underlying cause of gynecologic issues and infertility. These include sometimes debilitating problems such as endometriosis and PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome).
Dr. Whittaker helps women improve their gynecologic health and avoid or achieve pregnancy in accordance with their natural fertility. She uses the latest research, medicine, and surgery in order to address underlying problems and improve health.
Dr. Whittaker’s Credentials
Dr. Whittaker earned her medical degree at Creighton University School of Medicine and completed her residency in OBGYN at OSF Hospital in Peoria, IL. She then completed the Saint John Paul II Fellowship in Medical and Surgical NaProTECHNOLOGY at the Pope Paul VI Institute in Omaha, NE.
Dr. Whittaker is currently practicing at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital in Harrisburg, PA. She maintains a busy schedule so it’s such a privilege to have her on the podcast! She is a wealth of knowledge and has such compassion for women dealing with gynecological issues and couples struggling with infertility.
Sneak Peek Into Our Discussion
Dr. Whittaker became interested in restorative reproductive medicine (RRM) because of personal reasons, which she discusses more in detail at the beginning of the podcast. She also makes an excellent case for choosing NaPro/RRM to treat infertility, and turning away from harsh, unethical, and insanely expensive techniques like IVF. I personally loved our mini-discussion about HSG’s, which I had done during my NaPro surgery.
Dr. Whittaker was a wonderful guest and I’m looking forward to interviewing her again! If you find the episode helpful, please consider sharing a rating and review on your podcast app. It helps boost the podcast to more listeners who may be in desperate need of this information!
