In July 2021, Victony released Dark Times, a two-track project containing hit single Pray and Unfamiliar Realms. He continued to undergo medical care and soon began performing at concerts on his wheelchair, with Holy Father, his hit joint with Mayorkun becoming  a regular crowd mover. On the 24th of December 2021, he performed at the A Decade Of Davido concert and with Davido’S help, he stood on his feet to perform for the first time after his accident.

Today, a year after the accident that nearly claimed his life, Victony has released the anticipated single Kolomental.

The artist had earlier teased a snippet of the single on Friday with the caption “Kolomental 26/4/22” on Twitter and Instagram.

With its catchy hook, Kolomental contains the musings of a young man overwhelmed by seemingly mundane activities of life. Victony’s delivery on this track is nothing short of soothing, which comes as no surprise to his fans.
