Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributes National Panchayat Awards

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan virtually participated in a programme of distribution of National Panchayat Awards 2021 and distribution of e-property cards under Swamitva Yojana by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in a video conference. Union Minister of Panchayat Raj Shri Narendra Singh Tomar was also present in the programme held in New Delhi. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi transferred the prize amount as grant-in-aid in the accounts of the winning Panchayats under the National Panchayat Award 2021 with a single click. The programme included Deendayal Upadhyay Panchayat Empowerment Award to 224 Panchayats, Nanaji Deshmukh Rashtriya Gaurav Gram Sabha Award to 30 Gram Panchayats, Gram Panchayat Vikas Yojana Award to 29 Gram Panchayats, Child Friendly Gram Panchayat Award to 30 Gram Panchayats and e-Panchayat awards to 12 states. Starting the implementation of Swamitva Yojana in the country, more than four lakh property owners of more than 5 thousand villages were issued their e-property cards with a single click.

Record of Rights issued to land holders of 1399 villages of the state

On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan expressed his gratitude for the issuance of record of rights to the land holders of 1399 villages of the state electronically by Prime Minister Shri Modi. The construction of drone maps on the habitat area in villages with the help of Survey of India, Government of India’s Survey unit and the records of rights are being made on the basis of door-to-door survey based on this under the Swamitva Yojana. The record of rights will provide each property holder with property certificate and land ownership. With this, it will be easy to take a bank loan against the house. This campaign will protect public property like roads, schools, sports grounds, panchayat land, disposed land and their boundaries will be fixed.

State’s Panchayats bag awards

Under the National Panchayat Award, the Deendayal Upadhyay Panchayat Empowerment Award category award prize money was given to District Panchayat Betul, Janpad Panchayat Jaora and Sehore, Gram Panchayat Pawar Chauhan (Sidhi), Jetapur Kala and Saungaon Khurd (Khandwa), Dodaka (Umaria), Bhaisoda (Bhopal), Mehtwad (Sehore), Sawan (Neemuch), Sihoda and Bilkharwa (Jabalpur), Baghwari (Sidhi) and Kunda (Dhar). The Nanaji Deshmukh National Gaurav Gram Sabha Award was bagged by Nipaniyasukha Gram Panchayat (Bhopal) Gram Panchayat Vikas Award to Shivpur (Hoshangabad) and the Child Friendly Gram Panchayat Award to Panwar Chauhan (Sidhi). The prize money was released to these gram panchayats with a single click.
