Rain helped the mountain streams but….

A glimpse of the water coming down the North Fork of the Shenandoah River from the USGS Stream Gauge at Cootes Store, VA. The local rivers are going to be quite full for fishing… but not too bad for floating. However, the Mountain Trout Streams are in great shape after the rain and the brookies were feeding on dry flies today during the sunny afternoon.
