It’s the most wonderful time of the year and I wanted to create some pictorials to celebrate it! I did the same for Halloween and Thanksgiving so I think this will be a holiday tradition. I created four looks. My goal was to make them simple but still fun. I’m going to follow the same layout that I created for my previous pictorials. I’ll explain what brushes I use, show you the primer I use and then show you step by step how I created each look. Let’s talk about brushes first!

Brushes:

• Detail Crease Brush: This is my number one, must have brush. I have hooded eyes and this allows me to get deep into my crease for precise color placement.
• Tapered Blending Brush: This brush is slightly bigger than the Detail Crease Brush and I typically use it to place shadow right above my crease. I will also use it to place shadow in my crease if I don’t need to be very precise in my color placement. It’s great to blend with, as well.
• Flat Eyeshadow Brush: This brush is pretty self explanatory but it’s my favorite for eyeshadow. I also love this one from ShopMissA.
• Small Angled Brush: This is my favorite brush for applying eyeshadow to my lower lash line. I also love this one from ShopMissA.
• Smudge Brush: I use this brush when I want to apply shadow to my lower lash line in a thicker line than what I can get with the Small Angled Brush.
• Eye Crease Brush: I do not use this brush in my crease but instead I use it to apply my inner corner highlight.
• Blending Brush: I use this brush to apply my cream or white base shadow on top of my primer. I also use it to blend out the edges of my shadows.
• Eye Contour Brush: I use this brush to smudge out the edges of any shadow on my lower lash line when I don’t want a precise line.

Primer:

The first step of any eyeshadow look I do is primer. I’ve been using the essence Colour Intensifying Eyeshadow Base for the past year. It’s super affordable at just $3.49. I love that it has a doe foot applicator for easy application and it’s a pink shade that helps to make shadows pop. I do always set my primer with a cream or white shade of eyeshadow. Some people do not set their primer but it’s much easier to blend shadows on top of it if you set it. I will not be mentioning primer down below but just know that it was used in each look.

Pictorials:

The pictures below are in collage form and go in order from top to bottom and left to right. I will be linking to each palette or single eyeshadow that I used the first time it is mentioned. If I’ve reviewed it, I’ll link to my review and if not, I’ll link to where you can purchase it. However, you do NOT need these specific palettes or eyeshadows. Just use what you have and create your own versions of these looks. I will describe the color of the shade and put the palette or single eyeshadow name. • Pictorial 1

I had to create at least one stereotypical Christmas look. I really do like this look but if I did it again, I wouldn’t bring the white onto the lid. I feel it takes away from the red but other than that, I like it. For this look I used the: Lorac Pro One Palette, Morphe 35M Palette, Coloured Raine Queen of Hearts Palette, Looxi Beauty single in Glass Slipper (discontinued), Morphe 35V Palette and Colourpop Just My Luck Palette.

1. I blended a matte light pink (Lorac Pro 1) above my natural crease. I did this to help create a gradient with the deeper red shades.
2. I then took a bright matte red (Morphe 35M) and blended it into the crease. It wasn’t quite as deep as I wanted, however, so I took a slightly deeper toned matte red (Morphe 35M) and used it to deepen the crease.
3. I applied a metallic red (Coloured Raine Queen of Hearts) over the majority of my lid. I then mixed two white shimmery shades (Looxi Beauty/Morphe 35V) and applied them over the rest of my lid and in my inner corner.
4. I lined my lower lash line with the matte light pink (Lorac Pro 1) and then smudged a matte green (Colourpop Just My Luck) underneath it.

• Pictorial 2

This is the simplest look I did but one of my favorites. I love to wear pink and mauve shades during the holiday season. I took the two pictures of the finished look with the flash on so you could see the sparkle but you can see what it looks like without flash down below. For this look, I just used the Lorac Lux Diamond Palette. 1. I blended a matte rosey pink all in my crease and onto the outermost part of my lid. I focused on blending it more closer to my nose so that even though I was only using one shade, there would still be a gradient of color.
2. I then packed a shimmery gold over the majority of my lid and used a lighter shimmery champagne shade in my inner corner.
3. I lined my lower lash line with a matte chocolate brown. I then smudged a deeper matte brown underneath it from the outer point of my lash line to around the middle.

• Pictorial 3

This is by far my favorite look that I created. I wanted to do something a little deeper and cool toned. I also just love blue looks during the winter. For this look, I used the Lorac Lux Diamond Palette and Morphe 35V Palette. I also used the singles Omega and Cookie Dough (discontinued) from Looxi Beauty. There will be an additional close up picture down below because the shades on my lids are duochromes and I wanted to really show the shift of colors. 

1. I blended a matte tan (Lorac Lux Diamond) above my natural crease. I did this to help create a gradient with the deeper shades. I made sure to bring this shade to the very edge of where my brow stops and then down, forming an arch. I wanted to be sure the crease shade wouldn’t get out of control and go out too far.
2. I then used a matte, deep charcoal brown (Lorac Lux Diamond) in my crease. I also brought this shade onto the outermost part of my lid.
3. Over the rest of my lid, I packed on a shimmery dirty bronze (Lorac Lux Diamond).
4. I layered a blue/purple duochrome (Looxi Beauty- Omega) over my entire lid. I then added another icy white/blue duochrome (Looxi Beauty- Cookie Dough) over the innermost part of my lid and into my inner corner. I also added a small amount of a shimmery deep blue (Morphe 35V) onto the outermost part of my lid.
5. I lined my lower lash line with a matte black (Lorac Lux Diamond) and smudged a shimmery deep blue (Morphe 35V) underneath it.

• Pictorial 4:

Last but not least is the typical red and gold holiday makeup. For this look, I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism Palette (discontinued), Lorac Lux Diamond Palette and the single Get Naked (discontinued) from Looxi Beauty.

1. I blended a matte tan (Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism) above my natural crease. I did this to help create a gradient with the deeper shades. I made sure to bring this shade to the very edge of where my brow stops and then down, forming an arch. I wanted to be sure the crease shade wouldn’t get out of control and go out too far.
2. I blended a matte deep brown (Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism) into my crease. I also applied it onto the innermost and outermost parts of my lid. 
3. I applied a shimmery gold (Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism) onto the center of my lid. I then topped that with a more intense shimmery gold (Looxi Beauty- Get Naked). I also applied this shade in my inner corner mixed with a highlighter. 
4. I lined my lower lash line with an even deeper matte brown (Lorac Lux Diamond) and smudged a matte red (Lorac Lux Diamond) underneath it.

Final Thoughts:
