Tears were shed and hugs were shared as family and friends of the late Denise Clarke  reminisced on her the life  yesterday evening.

Clarke, 41, was found dead in a pool of blood yesterday morning of the mother of two  by a workmate in the foyer of the Bromswood retirement home at Cave Wood Road, Two Mile Hill, St. Michael where she worked as a nurse.

Her daughter, 17 year old, Danica Farrell told Trakker News  she last spoke to her mother on the phone just after 10 on Wednesday night.

Other relatives remembered Clarke as a nice, soft spoken person, who was kind hearted and a hard worker.

It was just after 10 that the relatives were allowed to identify the body of the young woman.

That act left them clearly distraught as her daughter and mother emerged weeping openly..

An autopsy will be conducted on Clarke's body to determine the exact cause of death. Police did not confirm, but some on the scene suggested that her body bore what appeared to be stab wounds.

Her death brings to 13, the total number of homicides for the year.l
