The mother of Whitney Adeniran, a 12-year-old female student of Chrisland High School, Ikeja, Lagos, has confirmed the cause of the daughter’s death.

The mother, Blessing Adeniran, in a now-viral video, said she has been “subjected to trauma” since the death of her daughter.

According to her, investigation revealed that her daughter died from electrocution while taking part in the school’s sporting events held at the Agege Stadium in Lagos.

Recall that in February, Blessing Adeniran accused Chrisland of negligence over the death of her child.

In response, the school’s management said Whitney complained about “not-too-buoyant health” a few days before she died.

Chrisland also dismissed insinuations that there was foul play in the death case while citing that she slumped in public.

In a live video on Wednesday on her official Instagram business account, Mrs Adediran prayed for “God’s wrath” on people who ridiculed her family.

“To everybody who kept pushing the narrative that Omodesolami was a sick child, that I should go and do test for my other children, that me and my husband should go and run test if we are sick,” she said.

“I will not say the pain I’m going through that you will go through it, I will tell you that the God of truth and justice will judge you because only God searches the heart.

“If you were paid to bully me, to insult my family, if you were paid to insult me, to kick me at my lowest, may God judge you!

“With pain in my heart, with tears in my eyes on the grave of my daughter, may God in his anger judge you. My child was electrocuted to death.”
