opening up our garden box again.
I know I JUST WROTE about the amazing weather, season change, and breeze that’s been going on around here… but I just don’t think there are enough words or quickly snapped photos to describe the feeling of *new* that this air brings. It’s been a nice week over here. A bit slow, but mostly in a good way. I had the AC off and the windows open for three whole days. The AC is back on again due to humidity (standard Florida, I guess), but it’s only a matter of time before another breezy day hits and we’re back to fresh days of open air. After two days of plant sales and picking up a few new tropical friends (passion fruit, mango, carambola, &many more trees), I spent another two days of dusting off, mopping up, and majorly cleaning. The same thought keeps running over in my mind… this month… and this year, it’s been good to me. I know theres still time left, but I can’t help to think that this might be the best year ever.
Tomorrow (when I wake up, it’s past midnight now) will probably be filled with errands, mostly likely a one pot bean and biscuit stew, and absolutely: marlowe’s first dance class ever. This weekend will be filled with birthday celebrations, parties, and friends I adore.
If you get a chance, there’s been a lot of great new shops and blogs added to the sidebar. Perfect for the gift buying season thats slowly (or too quickly!) approaching and finding good reads for the easy and relaxing days.

Love seeing snapshots and peeks at your life in FL. When we lived in Miami, I remember the same feeling come late fall / winter. Even our cat got so peppy in those months… Good memories!
