Jeremy Pearce of E. Lee Street has been appointed to the Smithfield Appearance Commission.
Pearce was appointed to his first term on the commission by the Smithfield Town Council during their Dec. 5th meeting.
In his application, Pearce said he and his wife recently moved from Pittsboro to Smithfield and want to work and volunteer in the community where they live.
