Uganda Defeated 2-0 By Tunisia In Pre-AFCON Test Game

Ghana’s Afcon 2017 group opponents Uganda were beaten 2-0 by Tunisia in a preparatory game Wednesday afternoon.

It did not take long for Etoile du Sahel midfielder Hamza Lahmar to neatly convert a free-kick on the 6th minute, which kept Cranes goalkeeper Salim Jamal rooted on his toes at the far right post.

Back from the break, the Tunisians increased their lead through another set piece crafted in by Ali Maaloul with Mohamed Ali Yakooubi connecting the resultant kick to make it 2-0.

Lahmar came close to making it 3-0 from another free-kick but missed the post. The Eagles dominated play and were by far the better side.
