Scott Fisher, 48, was arrested Monday on one count of sexual assault and is being held at the Boulder County Jail pending a bond hearing.

According to an arrest affidavit, a woman visiting the U.S. from Taiwan last April downloaded the dating app Tinder to her phone and was matched with Fisher.

The woman told police the two began texting on April 9, and agreed to meet for coffee that day. The two met in downtown Boulder before Fisher offered to drive her around to sight-see.

Fisher drove the woman to a turnout in Boulder Canyon just outside Nederland, where the two began to kiss in Fisher’s truck.

The woman said Fisher told her he had a condom, but that he began trying to have sex with her without one. The woman told Fisher she did not want to have unprotected sex, and tried to cover herself up and shove him away, but said Fisher then sexually assaulted her, according to the affidavit.
