The last rounds of Labor Day delays have begun.

An accident was reported about 5 p.m. on Interstate 70 eastbound just west of Idaho Springs.

Heavy traffic began developing on eastbound Interstate 70 in the Idaho Springs area and further west about 4 p.m. Monday, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. Delays were also being reported on Interstate 25 northbound just south of Castle Rock.

Moderate backups eastbound U.S. 40 heading away from Winter Park were also being reported Monday afternoon, according to the department.

Few flight delays were being reported out of Denver International Airport.
