When I speak to candidates, they typically rank their priorities in the following order: compensation, opportunity for advancement, and then culture. This is great information that I share with clients, but it’s just as important for candidates to know and demonstrate the traits hiring managers are looking for from them: flexibility, team orientation, versatility, and cultural buy-in.
