Do you remember when we announced that Vincci Selección Aleysa Boutique & Spa 5* had been named as the hotel with the best on-line reputation among Spanish internet users?
Well this morning the on-line hotel comparison website trivago.es presented the prize to the hotel in Benalmádena. The award is based on a study carried out in December 2015, looking at the opinions users leave on various booking websites that can be accessed through Trivago.
The presentation took place at the hotel, with Javier Carnero, head of Turismo Andaluz; Rafael Salas, head of the Tourism Service in the Andalusian Regional Government; Víctor Navas, mayor of Benalmádena; Arturo Bernal, head of tourism and planning for the Costa del Sol; José Carlos Escribano, president of AEHCOS (the Costa del Sol Hotelier’s Association) and Antonio Aranda, manager at AEHCOS, present.
During the event Sara González, the hotel’s director, expressed her excitement “because this award is perfect recognition for the world-class project we started 5 years ago when we opened this hotel. It means even more because it’s our guests themselves that have placed us at the top of the list, valuing so highly the quality of our services and stating clearly that we are a reference point on the Costa del Sol”. She also emphasised that the award is “also valuable recognition for all the individuals who makes up the team at Vincci Selección Aleysa 5*, because they have a direct impact with the efforts we make every day to create a perfect experience for each and every one of our guests”.
For his part, Alberto Calcerrada, Trivago Spain’s spokesman, highlighted that “it’s the first time Trivago has published such an extensive ranking of hotels, with a prize going to the best hotel. Our aim is to celebrate the excellent work of the hotels, and also to highlight the efforts made by the entire Spanish hotel sector in making continuous improvements, focused entirely on the guests and their needs”.
Vincci Selección Aleysa Boutique&Spa 5*, an outstanding five star hotel
The hotel Vincci Selección Aleysa is the best-rated establishment in Andalusia and across Spain. With a score of 95.59 out of 100, the hotel is notable for being the only five-star boutique hotel in the area. Set in a privileged, tranquil location right by the sea, with direct access to the best beaches on the Málaga coast, it’s also close to famous fun-spots such as Puerto Marina. Being a boutique hotel it has just 35 rooms, all of which are extremely bright, spacious and with sea views over the Mediterranean. Moreover it has a restaurant, where you can enjoy exquisite culinary creations, a welcoming spa with a thermal circuit and treatment cabins, among other facilities and services.
The on-line study shows the rating a hotel receives, based on all the travellers’ opinions Trivago has access to: a total of 200 million users of on-line booking websites. This makes it possible for the user to see an easy to understand visual summary of the opinions about each hotel directly on Trivago’s website.
