Yup, Buffalo made the list, which is pretty cool considering that one of the institutions that was spotlighted in the brief write-up isn’t even open yet – The Richardson-Olmsted Complex. It’s hard to fathom how much added excitement and interest that project will contribute to the city’s rebirth. Already the complex is a breathtaking sight to behold. Once it is a fully functioning urban resort and conference center (Hotel Henry), Buffalo will have yet another prime architectural wonder to tout to the world.
Meanwhile, Canalside (lead image) continues to capture the photographic headlines, whenever Buffalo lands national press (deservedly so). Viewing the activity at The Ice @ Canalside or the Silo Light Show is a wonder in itself, especially when one considers the relative newness of the waterfront project.
Other sites of interest that got a mention in the CNN.com write-up include the Darwin Martin House, Silo City and Sweet_ness 7.
