Well, another year is almost gone, yet there is still time to beg and plead with your spouse or significant other, for Lotus goodies for Christmas. Here are a few of the more obscure items out there...

This is a 1:38 scale model kit, by Kawai, that is very simple and looks nothing like the great image on the box! I suppose with a hit of paint, and a lot of patience it might look a hit better.

If preassembled is more your style, then perhaps Kyoshos great diecast cars are for you. This Europa is 1:43 scale, and is part of the museum collection. This particular model was also released in 1:18 scale, and is still fairly easy to find through various sites on the web.

Another interesting find was this 1:100 scale Lotus F1 model kit. just snap it together, and apply the proper JPS stickers, and you're set! The model itself, is vague.., maybe a 97 or 98T? The only information I can gather on this, is that it is from Italy .... an ebay find for me.

Lastly, we have another variation of the Johnny Lightning Lotus Esprit ... hey, note the Stevens body style instead of the G car! (Imagine That!) This particular car is 1:64 scale, and is part of the Motor Trend series, which includes a mini cover of the Motor Trend magazine that the car appeared in.

As the year comes to an end, I want to wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas, and hope that Santa has been reading my contributions...that way he knows what to leave you this year! Happy Hunting!!
