Lord, my God, You have placed me here in this place and in this season for reasons divine that are rooted in love. Grant my restless spirit contentment no matter what my lot is. Let Your servant sing with the psalmist that my inheritance has fallen in pleasant places. Jesus, You are the captain of my ship. Steer me in the direction best suited to reach the destination You desire. Even as the waters become rough and difficult to navigate, Lord, I know that the wind and waves are only allowed as much impact as Your will permits. Jesus, You are the gardener of my soul. Plant me where You would have me bloom. And when the sunshine is eclipsed by clouds of adversity, let me trust that You will blow them away at the right time before my heart withers and my soul perishes. Your love draws out the fruit I was meant to produce. Your Word is the soil that nourishes my heart. Jesus, I trust my soul growth to Your hands. Cultivate my heart in whatever ways You deem best. Place me, Lord God, where You need me to be for such a time as this. Increase my faith, Lord. Grow Your servant into Your likeness. My delight is being Yours. My joy is found in this place and in this season with You. Under the mighty truth of the Word found in Ecclesiastes 3:1 and the authority of Christ Jesus I bow in adoring prayer.

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.
