South Central Diabetes Support Group Presents Holiday Meal Planning with Diabetes on October 8th.

Do you or a loved one live with diabetes? Well, holiday eating can still be fun. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year — bring on the festivities! It is the season of celebration and for most people, it is also the season of food: Homebaked goods, work lunches, family dinners, cocktail parties — they are all a huge part of the holidays. However, enjoying all the festive meals and treats is a different story when you have diabetes.

South Central Regional Medical Center invites you to attend the South Central Diabetes Support Group on Tuesday, October 8th at 1 p.m. South Central Dietitians will discuss how to meal plan for the upcoming holiday season. South Central Diabetes Support Group is a monthly meeting offered to educate and support individuals with diabetes and caregivers of people who are diabetic. The meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. at South Central Place in Laurel.
