New on the Menu: Jollibee’s Bacon Cheesy Yumburger, Crispy Spice Fries price and verdict

Starting September 1, three new yummy treats will be added to Jollibee’s menu. They’ve given Manila Millennial a chance to try it ahead of the release date so keep reading to find out whether or not the Bacon Cheesy Yumburger, Bacon Cheesy Deluxe Yumburger, and Crispy Spice Fries are worth your time!

Bacon Cheesy Yumburger

PRICE: P59 (solo)

THE GOOD: It can surely satisfy anyone’s love for bacon without going overboard with the number of bacon strips inside. The number of bacon strips (we weren’t able to count), burger patty, melted creamy cheddar cheese, and other seasonings are balanced just right so no taste can overpower the other too much. However, it’s still packed with a flavorful bacon!

THE BAD: If you try its Deluxe version first, there’a a high chance that you’ll regret eating this one next. That’s just me, though! Those who don’t like veggies and tomatoes in their burgers would probably pick this version instead.

THE VERDICT: Without comparing it with the Bacon Cheesy Deluxe Yumburger, the Bacon Cheesy Yumburger is worth trying. It reminds me of the Cheesy Bacon Mushroom Champ – minus the mushrooms, with added bacon.

Bacon Cheesy Deluxe Yumburger

PRICE: P85 (solo)

THE GOOD: Similar to the Bacon Cheesy Yumburger, the Deluxe version still has the beef patty, topped with cheese and bacon strips. However, there are added layers to it that makes it “deluxe” – fresh lettuce and tomatoes. It’s like what you’ll get when you combine Jollibee’s TLC with their Cheesy Bacon Mushroom Yum (without the mushrooms). Unlike TLC, this one’s more flavorful, though!

THE BAD: I honestly have no comments about the taste. It’s just that I find the price a bit higher than expected from the regular version’s P59 price point. It’s like adding P26 for a few slices of tomatoes and a couple of lettuce.

THE VERDICT: What we loved about the Bacon Cheesy Yumburger multiplied by two, that’s how much we loved this! It’s an explosion of flavors and we highly recommend that you try this one despite the price difference.

Crsipy Spice Fries

PRICE: P49 for regular / P69 for large

THE GOOD: The Crispy Spice Fries is a breath (or should we call it taste) of fresh air from the usual plain fries offered at the fastfood chain. They’re thinner fries coated with flavorful spice.

THE BAD: It’s not bad, it’s better than the plain fries in my opinion, but the Crisscut Fries still reigns supreme! I’d probably love it more if there was a non-cripsy thicker version.

THE VERDICT: Worth your P69! I’d probably be one of the first people to order again on Sunday. There’s something about the taste that just hooks me to keep on munching!

All these will be available for dine-in, takeout, and delivery starting on Sunday (September 1, 2019). Just so we don’t leave a stone unturned, here’s what they look like when wrapped:
