CM: Milan will make January offer for €35m-rated Argentine

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are in constant contact over the possibility of signing Udinese star Rodrigo De Paul in January, a report claims.

Milan have been linked with the Argentine since the summer window, and Calciomercato.com have previously suggested that will cost at least €25m.

The same outlet recently reported that Milan director Paolo Maldini is ‘a big fan’ of De Paul and has communicated to his agent – Agustin Jimenez – that the Rossoneri are interested in signing his client.

Niccolo Ceccarini then told TMW (via MilanNews.it) confirmed last week that Milan want De Paul as they have ‘long been looking for a player with his characteristics’.

De Paul is a versatile player who can play as a winger, trequartista or as a mezz’ala – something which makes him an ideal fit for Marco Giampaolo’s system, the report claimed.

Calciomercato.com have provided a brief update by claiming that the Rossoneri ‘always wants to keep alive the track that leads to De Paul’ and that ‘an attempt will be made in January’ to sign him.
