CM: Spurs enjoying €45m winger as Milan are left with some regret – the background

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan might be left with some regret that they did not further pursue a deal for winger Dejan Kulusevski, a report has claimed.

Calciomercato.com report that the Swede signed for Spurs in January from Juventus on a two-year loan for €10m with an option to buy set at €35m, therefore an operation that could end up totalling €45m. He has scored twice in his first 5 appearances in the Premier League, as many as he had scored in the last 44 games played in Serie A with Juve.

Kulusevski can be considered a regret more for Milan, who thought about making a move to sign him towards the end of the January transfer window. It was an enquiry that then did not turn into a real negotiation because the asking price from Juventus was considered excessive by the Milan management.

There is no doubting that he would have been very convenient for Pioli who currently has Alexis Saelemaekers, Junior Messias and Samu Castillejo as his right wing options.

  1. This post is irritating as this player is stupid and his cost should not more than 3 millions beside doing business with Juve is a big failure and not trust worthy

  2. Regret for what. The total cost 45m euro that rubentus asking and he is not worth that money. There are many RW or AMF better than him if same price

  3. Milan never aim for Kulusevski not just his price tag is ridiculous but he’s not worth €45 million and Milan can used those money to buy Botman and Sanchez.

  4. 45M€ regrets?! Hell no! He might be good but definitely not THAT good. 3M loan + 15M option to buy and THEN we’d have regrets.
