(L.A.) John Thorpe, 47, Died in a Tent

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a tent.
The coroner’s office identified the man as John Thorpe.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Effects of Alcohol, Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 4:27 p.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 7, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
John had been missing for over a year after checking out of rehab. This is extremely sad news to hear, he is deeply missed.
