‘Women who bleach excessively are not good in bed,’ says Mr Henrie

Published

Radio personality Henry Arinaitwe, popularly known as Mr Henrie, seemed to take a verbal shot at his ex-girlfriend Prima Ndagire, better known as Prima Kardashi, when he said women who bleach are not good in bed.

“But, where is the lie? Am I lying? A woman who bleaches a lot is not good in bed, right?” he said to chanting fans at the Rolex Festival.

Mr Henrie started dating Kardash, who is older than him, after she broke up with the singer George Williams Kigozi, better known by his stage name Geosteady.

She has two kids with the 32-year-old singer. They broke up after Geosteady didn’t commit to wedding her, a ceremony she was eagerly looking forward to. She also said the crooner was cheating on her.

A month after breaking up with the ‘Owooma’ hitmaker in 2020, Mr Henrine swooped in.

Oritsefemi’s ex-wife threatens lawsuit over claim of 21 miscarriages

Nabila Fash, the ex-wife of Oritsefemi, has threatened to sue the singer over his recent claims that she had 21 miscarriages during their marriage.

In a recent interview, the 39-year-old singer claimed Fash had “21 miscarriages” but still held him responsible for their inability to have children.

Oritsefemi also alleged that she sent about twenty of her friends to beat him up in his house.

Fash, while reacting through Rockson Igelige of Rockson Legal, her lawyers, denied the allegations, saying they were “concocted lies designed to damage my character and bring me to public ridicule”.

She cautioned him not to call her his wife, stating that the high court in Lagos dissolved their marriage on March 21, 2024.

Fash also denied claims that she sent her friends to beat Oritsefemi up.

“We write to you to cease further defamation of and threats to our client. You know for a fact that the above-quoted statements, amongst others, that you made during the said interview are all concocted lies designed to disparage, tarnish, and damage our client’s character and to bring her to public ridicule and hostility,” the lawsuit reads in part.

“This is so as our client did not at any time send any of her friends to beat you up nor had 21 miscarriages during her now judicially dissolved marriage to you. Our client takes exception to your defamatory aspersions designed to taint and destroy her reputation.

“We, therefore, demand that you cease defamatory statements against our client. We further demand that you immediately stop referring to our client as your wife and stop threatening anyone around her. Our client sued you for divorce (the dissolution of your marriage), and the High Court of Lagos State judicially dissolved the marriage on 21st March 2024.”

The couple tied the knot in 2017. In 2021, their marriage faced a crisis over allegations of infidelity.

Fash later accused the singer of “constant cheating, verbal and emotional abuse”.

She claimed Oritsefemi has children out of wedlock with the excuse of wanting a boy child.

She also alleged that the singer physically assaulted her twice in their relationship.

The ‘Igbeyawo’ hitmaker, however, denied the allegations.

In 2022, Fash had filed for divorce from Oritsefemi.

Lawyer’s absence stalls hearing of Yul Edochie, May’s divorce case

Yul Edochie, the Nollywood actor, and May, his estranged wife, have experienced another setback in their divorce case.

Edochie has been in the news for controversial reasons since he unveiled Judy Austin as his second wife in April 2022.

He also announced their first child together — to the displeasure of May, his first wife.

In August 2023, May filed for divorce from Yul and demanded N100 million in damages from Judy “for adultery with her husband”.

The case was initially delayed at the high court in Abuja in March. DPA Family Clinic, May’s legal representatives, also claimed that Yul had denied getting married to Judy.

But in a recent statement via Facebook, May’s lawyers said the case, scheduled for Tuesday, was adjourned again because Yul’s lawyer was absent due to health issues.

“Trial could not go ahead today as scheduled because two days ago, He proposed several dates in the future as an alternative and requested the court to pardon him,” the statement reads.

“Usually, the court would give the lawyer the benefit of the doubt in such a situation. May’s lawyers would not like to question the integrity of the opponent directly, even though the excuse was a tendentious occurrence.

“Today in court Mr Yul Edochie was present but without his counsel. The court could not hear any substantive matter. A new date had been set in June. We are all concerned about delays and protection of this case.

“But we remain confident that justice will be done in due course by this court. As you know, several issues are involved: from the activities of the parties in social media to the welfare of the children, to the issues of marital properties, the safety of May, and the final status of the marriage itself.”
