A 20 year old detainee in Sevilla has managed to escape from custody, making his getaway in a taxi.
The man, who has a prior criminal record, was safely locked away in the cells in Sevilla having been indicted and sentenced to custody in prison.
At around 20:00 on Tuesday, the man simulated an anxiety attack and was attended by the medical examiner. The man was then transferred to an ambulance in the custody of two police officers.
One of the officers was called away and the prisoner seized his moment to escape and ran off, later hailing a taxi and getting away from pursuing officers.
