Nigerian duo fires Midtjylland to the top of Danish League
Two Nigerian players were in action on Saturday for Midtylland as they came from a goal down to beat Vejle Boldklub 3-1 in their Danish Superliga matchday 4 clash at the Vejle Stadion.
Allan Sousa put the hosts in front in the 17th minutes from a rebound after his penalty was saved.
The goal was the difference between the two sides at the end of the first half.
Midtjylland didn’t get going till Ayo Simon Okosun came in for the visitors to shore things in the midfield.
8 minutes after he was subbed on for Frank Onyeka Ogechukwu, Rasmus Nicolaisen equalized for the visitors in the 79th minutes.
The defender scored his second of the night to increase the visitors tally to two in the 84th minutes.
Mads Doehr Thychosen completed the remarkable comeback win in the 87th minutes with a fine finish to ensure the win that takes Midtjylland to the top of the league after just four games.
