“Intertelecom” goes on in using innovations in his work. In cooperation with Drone.UA enterprise, the operator became the first one who adopted drones for inspection of the base stations and telecommunication antennas.

Previously, visual inspection and testing of technical condition of the objects required human resources. Using the drones will allow upscalling to the new level in planning and modifications of radio networks. The tasks delegated to the drones may include inspection of new construction objects for planning and development of the network, planning of radio line intervals and visual confirmation of the presence or absence of damages on the cable lines.

Quality of analysis provided by UAVs allows comprehensive assessment of condition of the equipment thanks to high-resolution optical and thermal sensors mounted on the drones. Data from the devices are transmitted to the drone operators in real-time mode and are loaded to the cloud storage for further study by experts of “Intertelecom”.

The data are used for building detailed 3D-models of the constructions allowing to analyze any plane of the antennas that is important for carrying out operational works as well as for planning and detection of changes.

“One of the objectives of Drone.UA – is making the technologies more accostable. We strive to make drones being considered not only as toys or military objects but also as technique that can simplify processes in our everyday life. Inspection of objects is precisely the area where we can do that. We are glad to cooperate with “Intertelecom” because such cooperation fits to our vision of the general concept of the drones usage”, – co-founder of Drone.UA Valeriy Yakovenko said.

“We aim at maximal adoption of modern technologies in all aspects of our activity, – CEO of “Intertelecom” Boris Akulov said. – “Drones have been successfully applied for similar tasks in many countries, and “Intertelecom” has become the pioneer in this area in Ukraine”.
