Drone Delivers Christmas Trees

Intuitive Aerial AB (publ) is based in Linköping, Sweden and makes the Aerigon – an exceptional multi rotor helicopter system for professional cinema and broadcast use.  Aerigon is being used in high-end productions such as “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and “Into the Woods” by Disney, and “One Planet” by BBC. The company recently successfully completed its IPO (133% subscription rate) and will start to trade on NASDAQ First North in January.

Today, however, the company is showing off a more playful side. Christmas is soon here, and how can one better use an unlimited access to really large drones than by flying a Christmas tree?!

With a maximum payload capacity of 20 lbs (stabilized), the tree was no match for Aerigon. Intuitive Aerial has a certified flight organization and possesses all necessary permissions for flying UAVs. Being based in Sweden also means that the company operates in a country with mature and well functioning UAS regulations. Before and during the Christmas tree flights the team also kept close contact with air traffic control of the local airport.

The team from Intuitive Aerial wishes you all a Merry Chrismas!
