Shehu Sani joins new party

Senator Shehu Sani has advised South East leaders to articulate their positions ahead of National Assembly’s approval of Muhammadu Buhari’s request for a foreign loan of $22 billion.

Sani represented Kaduna Central at the 8th Senate.

Members of the National Assembly from the South East recently cried out over alleged marginalisation of the region in the projects part of the loan would be used for.

But Sani, in a post on his Twitter handle-@ShehuSani said:

“Once the Senate and the House of Reps approved the $22 Billion loan, South East’s protest of marginalization on Federal projects tied to the loan will be of no effect.

“South East Ministers and legislators ought to have met and articulate their position before approval.”
