The Staten Island FerryHawks of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB) continue their busy day of signings, as they have inked right-handed starting pitcher Jasier Herrera for the approaching 2022 campaign.
Another lively arm, the FerryHawks have Tweeted that Herrera hovers around the mid-90s mark. The Colombian native pitched five seasons in the San Franciso Giants organization, putting up a 14-11 record with a 3.77 ERA with 209 strike outs in 229 innings across 79 contests.
Herrera also spent the 2021-22 baseball year with the Tiburones de La Guaira of the Venezuelan Winter League, going 1-0 in nine frames in three games.
Herrear was the third pitcher signing, first starter of the day, for Staten Island. Williams Ramirez and Law Connor are two righty relief arms.
