As a small business in the South Bay, we take great pride in committing to making our community a better place. That’s why each year we support a number of nonprofit organizations, including A Safe Place for Youth in Venice Beach.

Each fall, we hold a sock drive to donate to the homeless youth population served by A Safe Place for Youth (S.P.Y.). Socks are among the most needed items at homeless shelters, yet they’re one of the least donated. With a shortage of clean socks, people who are homeless are constantly at risk of serious foot disease.

We gather as many new packages of socks as we can for the organization, then bring them to S.P.Y.’s headquarters in Venice Beach. We love meeting the team members there, hearing stories of how their services bring comfort and promise to local youth and show them the possibility of a bright future. Our stash of socks is distributed by the team to those who need them.

One of our favorite things about our annual sock drive is that it gives us the opportunity to welcome you into our team of helping hands.
