Article: GOD’S TIME, The Perfect Time | Jerrin Abey Jacob
The writer of the wonderful Biblical book of Ecclesiastes describes in deep, the influence and importance of perfect time in our Life. He mentions in impacting clear words how Time plays an important part in a person’s life. Read Ecclesiastes 3 : 1-8. Everything under the heaven has a time. There are two virtual, but real times in a man’s life. one, which he himself sets which often end up bad and another one which is followed by GOD, the perfect time. Perfect in the sense, something which brings satisfaction and peace of Mind.
Being an avid fan of the biblical characters from whom I always draw inspiration, here is few examples. Let’s start with the Dreamer, Joseph. His visions took painful time to become reality. What started out to be a few days journey ended up as 4-decade long trip through wilderness for Moses and the people who believed in Moses and set out for the great escape. Abraham and Sarah, needed to live almost their ages out to get an heir who could carry their bloodline ahead. David, anointed as the future king of Israel waited years to reach his destiny. Daniel and his friend’s determination were strengthened by the daily trials they faced and put forth by the world leader. Jesus himself took time to enter the ministry arena to fulfil his life’s purpose…. the list goes on and on. Even if you look into your life, you would see the same pattern. The long painful, toiling, hardship laid time roads to reach the destiny which satisfies and brings peace. This time period which needs patience and faith on GOD is called GOD’s time. The fun fact is that GOD’S time can be Long, Short, maybe a day, a week, a decade, years maybe. If he wants to make you strong for his Purpose in your life, Time fluctuates.
If Joseph could cave in before that temptation of the authority’s wife, If Moses could have given up due to the constant complaining from the confused Israelite, If Abraham and Sarah gave up hope and took some drastic step, If David did not continue believing in his anointment, If Daniel never endured the trials… We could never get inspired by what they have achieved. Their Life became a lesson which teaches us to be patient. It encourages us to put our hand into the comforting palms of God and trust him completely. Joseph became a big-time ruler, Abraham and Sarah gave birth to Isaac, the blessed bloodline, David became one of the greatest kings ever to walk on the face of Earth, Daniel’s endurance glorified God’s name in the wretched land.
I just want to encourage those of you who are almost there to give up on your Life’s problem… Friends, HANG ON… The time is near. The true characteristic of a Champion is to endure everything and still move forward. You are a Champion, you may fall down, But Get Up, for the fight is not over, Move Forward with the Faith in God and Patience in your heart. Let things fall in place, God’s plan for you is always perfect…. IN HIS TIME, HE MAKES THINGS BEAUTIFUL.
