Previously estranged creepy father-daughter combo RYAN & TATUM O’NEAL to bury hatchet for new "docu-soap" being pitched to nets.
Tatum O’Neal has already moved into her dad’s Malibu hacienda he once shared with love Farrah Fawcett as they launch an attempt at familial reconciliation.
Show biz bible Variety reports, "It won’t be easy — They’ve been icy toward each other for 25 years — but that will likely make for good TV."
The O’Neals will undergo therapy together, attempting to get to the bottom of the bad feelings Taum has toward her father.
Ryan O’Neal "is prepared to do anything to get it right this time," the shows PR blurbs.
Ryan’s messy relationships aren’t limited to Tatum – As The ENQUIRER previously reported Ryan he was arrested in connection with an assault on son Griffin in 2007 AND in 2008 he was arrested with son Redmond on drug charges.
Tatum made headlines in 2008 as well after being busted for drugs in NYC.
This will be the first time Ryan and Tatum have worked together since Tatum became the youngest actor to win the Oscar at age ten for Paper Moon in 1973.
Ryan nabbed a Golden Globe for his role in the Peter Bogdonavich comedy about two con-artists.
