Medaryville Residents Arrested on Meth-Related Charges, Following Bremen Traffic Stop

Two Medaryville residents were arrested Friday, after Bremen Police say they found more than four pounds of meth during a traffic stop. Officers say they pulled over a Chevrolet for speeding on eastbound U.S. 6, near State Road 331, around 5:30 Friday evening.

Police reportedly discovered that neither the driver, Stacy Miller, 47, or the passenger, James Miller, 53, had a valid license. As they continued investigating, officers say they found more than four pounds of methamphetamine, estimated to be worth almost $100,000, in the vehicle.

Stacy and James Miller were both placed under arrest for dealing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine, according to the police report. Officers say James was also charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, while Stacy will be cited for driving while suspended-infraction and speeding.
