Lee, you’re too sweet! I know seeing pictures of East Tennessee has to make you a bit home-sick! You might live on the other side of the coast, but here is where your heart will always be. Thanks for visiting!
You captured so beautiful scenes and YES to that sun flare. I got a few of those myself this week. I didn’t even have my big girl camera, but I was not going to let the chance slip by, even if my phone camera is generally crappy. It’s all about just being out there and enjoying this wonderful world! 🙂
Les, hey when you have an iPhone, even if it’s an old one, who needs a big girl camera? I’m always amazed at how well yours iPhone takes pictures. I can’t wait to see what you have for us! Thanks for stopping by!
Hi, dear Cathy! I’m still blogging tonight so I thought I’d drop in one more time to say hello. I appreciate all three of these pictures. The first two might be called “perfectly imperfect” and the third is a spectacular shot of autumn splendor. As you mentioned, the main thing is that you had fun seeing all these marvelous sights on your day trips. See you Sunday, dear friend!

I miss that side of the country. I lived in NC for 4 years and in VA the 5 years before that….beautiful captures.

Very nice shots, Cathy. I, too, think the main thing is that you enjoyed yourself and the beautiful day. Have a great Wednesday.
p.s. I love that quote about kids and photography 🙂

Claudia, I liked the quote, too. Unfortunately, there are some kids no matter what you do they get involved with drugs. Thanks for stopping by!
