Headteacher Mocked to the Core on Twitter for Claiming Evolution is Not A Fact | She Closes Her Account & Runs Off

Earlier today, the Religious Affairs Editor of BrutallyUncensored.Com-Godwin Nii-Armah Okine wrote a brilliant piece on the position of science and religion when it comes to his Ghanaian country folks, arguing on the back of evolution.
Godwin stated among other things that;
‘Take evolution, for instance. Ghanaians are indoctrinated with religion right from birth, and are taught the infallible truths of the gospel, and told that doubting the word of God is the worst thing they can ever do. There is no doubt in Ghanaian Christianity that Adam and Eve ever existed, that the flood or the Exodus took place, or that the gospel writers were Jesus’ buddies. Doubting is wrong and immoral, and therefore anything that contradicts the word of God is by definition garbage.
I know, because I grew up in it- and I continue to see it around me every day.”
He added;
“Hundreds of millions of Christians the world over do not believe the bible is infallible, or that science has to be false for religion to be true. They acknowledge the reality of things, and embrace the science that demonstrably makes all our lives better, and acknowledge the hand of God in it. They tell themselves the bible was written and assembled by man, so it’s possible mistakes and distortions have entered into it.
They do all these, accept the authority of science, and aren’t poorer Christians for it. The pope, the f*cking pope, accepts evolution, as does the Archbishop of Canterbury (both institutions they head have accepted it for a while)- and God has not stricken either of them dead yet, so get over yourself already.”
Surely, the Christian fundamentalists are everywhere and even in England, there are pockets of them—Christina Wilkinson, a headteacher of St Andrew’s Church of England school in Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, is one of such people.
Christina Wilkinson has been mocked to the core on twitter for claiming that evolution is not a fact—saying,  that evolution was “a theory” and there was “more evidence that the Bible is true”.
The headteacher made the comments in a tweet responding to London headteacher Tom Sherrington, who urged teachers to stick to science when teaching the origins of life.
She boldly wrote: “Evolution is not a fact. That’s why it’s called a theory! There’s more evidence that the Bible is true.”
The Guardian says, “amid criticism and calls for her to resign on Twitter, Wilkinson issued a statement saying: “I’d like to make it clear that we teach the full national curriculum in school and that our pupils receive a fully rounded education.”
She also said her tweet was sent from a personal account and “represents my own views”. However, her Twitter handle was @WilkinsonHead, apparently referencing her role as headteacher. The tweet has since been taken down and the account closed.”
A twitter user wrote that Wilkinson’s statement was “an unacceptable level of stupidity from a headteacher.”
Liv Boeree tweeted: “This is horrifying. I’m still holding out hope her response is some kind of performance art. Pls pls pls tell me this lady doesn’t work in education. Please.”
Sherrington also wrote: “Sigh. I sincerely hope your students aren’t told that. Take them to a natural history museum.”
The evolutionary biologist Prof Richard Dawkins stepped in to clear things by saying, “Wilkinson was misusing the word theory. “Scientists call evolution a theory only in a special scientists’ sense, which is NOT the same as the layman’s ‘tentative hypothesis’.”
“This is so often misunderstood that I now recommend abandoning the confusing word ‘theory’ altogether for the case of evolution. Evoluton is a fact, as securely attested as any fact in science. ‘We are cousins of monkeys and kangaroos’ can be asserted with as much confidence as ‘Our planet orbits the sun’,” he added.
