Kwaw 'Abodam' Kese

Born in the 80’s in Agona Swedru in the Central Region of Ghana to Mr. and Mrs. Botchwey, Kwaw Kese believes he came out singing and that the real thing started at J.S.S. when he was singing and rapping to his friends and doing some stage performances here and there.

He had his J.S.S education at Happy Home J.S.S and then went on for his Secondary education at Winneba Secondary School.

He featured on Obrafour’s executioner’s diary with his ‘Oye Nonsense’ track. Asked why he chose that title, he said: “I choose ‘Oye Nonsense’ because there was something I wanted to talk about which was nonsense.

Actually this is it: ‘A boy or a man could go for a lady, help her, cater for her needs and so many others things and then someone could just come from nowhere and take the lady away or vice-versa and this is “ Nonsense”. It’s something people are uncomfortable to talk about but I thought I could talk about it ‘Oye Nonsense’ and I did.

When Hammer’s soundz of out time was released somewhere this year, his voice was heard on the album. This time around, it was “Ma Tewo Kwakwa” Quite surprisingly; it still had the ‘nonsense’ element in it.

This track made an impact on the whole album. It became the favourite of most music lovers.

His maiden release ‘Na Ya Tal’ was a big hit. The beat and combination of words makes this album the hit with a difference.
