Personally, I do not see the connection between NBA player Serge Ibaka (Keri Hilson’s BF) who comes from Congo and Fufu—that is if indeed Keri Hilson was making the famous Ghanaian dish.
Whatever is it that she was making shows that, Keri Hilson is ready to break her back in the kitchen to put a smile on her man’s face…
Proud Keri Hilson took to twitter shortly after making Fufu to let her fans know that, she is not only musically good but she can also chef up—even if it comes to strange dishes likle Fufu!
Keri Hilson is not a stranger to Ghanaians. The musician performed alongside Bow Wow during the Stand UP GH concert in May 2012.
After her performance in Ghana, the American singer was said to have gone home with a whopping $70,000.
Even if you do not remember anything about her concert in Ghana, I am sure you have not forgotten how Keri Hilson did the ever popular azonto dance which became known as the ‘$70,000 azonto dance’.

@Miyagi The Debater, tell them ooo, we also eat something called fufu, peeps think that’s something eaten in Ghana or Nigeria, (sight!!!!!!) although it’s made out of cassava powder, but what she made isn’t, it looks more like semolina, which most congolese tend to eat abroad
@LaCongolaise, true

Ghanaians tryin so hard 2 b notice
Are they the only pple that eat fufu?
True Ghanaians aint the only ones who eat FUFU..BUT…the food is a Ghanaian dish originating from Ghana…same way one would say Eba originates from 9ja..simple… its noce to know someone appreciates and would sweat to cook an African dish that originated from Ghana… this one too u wan cry over it. why do people have a problem with everything Ghanaian that Ghanaians try to take pride in? smh
@Nelia, my friend gerr out what did the writer wrote “originated” in case you don’t understand the meaning of “originated” than look it up before you type any rubbish
@Miyagi The Debater, what rubbish are you talking about..you didnt even get my point..before you sit behind a computer or laptop or use your phone whatever it is..try and decode what the person commenting is talking about.. and who said my comment was for the writer? and not the comments i have read… i beg.. before you leap look.. im not in the mood to exchange words with people like you.. im really trying my best not to use derogatory remarks on u…dummy.
@Nelia, hhahahhahaha hahaha lol why you tripping for and what’s there to decode hahahaha calm down waii and stop tripping I’m not even going to insult I don’t see the need in that i guess your the replica of a human being: “a waxwork”.
@Miyagi The Debater, OOhhh I see where you come from… the group of myopic thinkers.. like i said i aint got time to exchange words with a stranger just cuz u cant understand someone’s simple english and u aint even polite enough to ask for clarification.. its such a pity..grab a book or better still do something profitable than engaging in unnecessary arguments online..THATS SO LOW. u can run your mouth all u want..i got my point across..ciao
@Nelia, it’s called typing hahahaha, me and you who is more unimaginative
@Nelia, U make sense.
Not up till now i never knew fufu was Ghanian.
@chi,
Fufu is nt Ghanaian
Most countrys in west african eat fufu
@lovely, Like Togolese also.
Fufu is eaten in many Western & Central african countries and there are variation in texture and consistency but its originally Ghanaian
the same way Jollof is eaten in many places and is originally from the Wolof of Senegambia
various dishes travel around due to migration
whats most important is that we are all one
@gaga, nice one
Me i dnt get dis whole fufu noise she is making n everyone is making!
If she said she was cooking one of those typical hectic african soups or if she was pounding de fufu in a mortar den dat one wld be news, not dis powdered packed fufu flour she jx mixed.
Lol miyagi, on a serious note, did u even read nelia’s first comment before attacking her, she is saying exactly wat @gaga just said and you are agreeing with gaga and castigating nelia. Ur response to nelia was so out of point with her comment . Hahahaha. Cool down man, or is it a delibrate attack for a previous clash??? U that guy, u neva cease to amaze me. Hahahahahaha
@marcel, haha lol naija boy behave yourself loool
Fufu is actually eating all over West Africa, but cooked differently. At least that’s what I’ve learned.
