Ghana’s Next Light-Skinned Prez? – Actor Van Vicker Declares Presidential Ambition

Actor Van Vicker has made it clear, he’s planning to enter the political arena soon and he’s aiming very high.

He’s planning to go as high as becoming a President of Ghana.

The actor who only recently gained his tertiary degree – 21 years after completing Senior High School – is not ready to rest on his laurels.

He has confirmed having political ambitions.

Van Vicker made the revelation during an interview with Jessica Opare Saforo on Citi Fm’s Traffic Avenue.

Jessica asked him point-blank that she’s heard rumours he’s interested in political office.

Van Vicker replied in the affirmative.

“How did you hear that? [I’m interested in politics] … I mean yeah it is true,” he replied.

Vicker then went on to spew the usual nonsense people say that they are in politics to serve Ghanaians and not for themselves. Can we be spared that b*llsh*t at least once?

Every political aspirant says it, but we know the truth because we have seen it over and over again.

Van Vicker is currently doing alright for himself but he’s by no means rich beyond measure. To get that kind of stinking, generational wealth, politics is the place to be.

That is why any of them enters politics and not for any other reason – we aren’t going to be fooled anymore!

Van Vicker was also asked about the fix the country movement and why he kept quiet about it if he has political ambitions.

He replied: “I think it’s a collective effort because if they say let’s clean our surroundings and I decide not to do it, it has a lot of repercussions.

“So it’s a collective effort, it’s not just government fix it, it is we all fix it so I am not taking a stand that we should fix ourselves, neither is it government should fix the country, it is collectively, let’s fix the country,”

Like a true politician without any firm stance, he added: “That is my stand and I didn’t want to go one way or the other because if you throw weight to one side, those who dey the other side go scatter you,”
