Despite being locked in the bing, Kodak Black keeps the music pumping and just released the new video “Too Many Year” featuring PnB Rock. The irony of the track and the video is Kodak Black discusses changing his ways and not going back to jail.

Some of the Florida rapper’s lyrics include,

“I told my mama we gon’ be fine/ So I’m up all night way after sleep time/ I’m just thinkin’ ‘bout Lil Kuda/ Gave my dog a dime/ He put a buckshot in a nigga’s behind/ No daddy so I grew up to the street life/ But my son, I’ma keep him in the beehive/ Scheming on a heist, I need to change my life/ Been geekin’ all night, I’m going senile/ With two niggas toting three 4-5’s/ I seen a nigga play gangsta, then he broke down/ Lost a lot, lost his mind in the courthouse.”

Pnb Rock’s chorus sums up the track which could possibly be Kodak’s current frame of mind as he sings,

“Cause I done gave the jails too many years/ Years that I won’t get back/ And I swear I done shed too many tears/ For niggas that I won’t get back/ Yeah I got niggas in the graveyard/ Niggas in the state yards/ I swear not a day goes by/That I don’t think about the times/ I wish that I could rewind.”

As previously reported, Kodak Black has been behind the bars for two weeks now. Arrested on Feb. 28 for allegedly violating the terms of his house arrest, the Pompano Beach, Fla. rapper will remain on lockup for at least another 10 days, according to the Sun Sentinel.

The extended stay 19-year-old artist, whose real name is Dieuson Octave, is the result of a court appearance on Friday to determine whether there was enough evidence to consider him a “danger” to Broward County residents.

After no decision was made at the hearing, Broward Circuit Judge Michael Lynch scheduled a continuation for March 20.

As Kodak waits to hit the streets again, check out “Too Many Years” now.
