Publishers Natsume Inc. (North America), Rising Star Games (Europe) and Nintendo Australia (Australia and New Zealand) has this week confirmed they will be bringing Harvest Moon: One World to the Nintendo Switch later this year. This continues the long-running English localisation to Marvelous’ long-running Bokujou Monogatari agricultural/life simulation series, which in recent years has been split over Harvest Moon (Natsume) and Story of Seasons (XSEED Games).
While more information is expected to come in the months leading to launch, this is what they have shared about the game, which highlights a somewhat different experience from previous games:
Can you imagine a world without tomatoes, strawberries, or even cabbage? In the latest entry in the Harvest Moon series, that’s the situation players will find themselves in. Only an old book gives hints of what once was… Buoyed by a mysterious discovery, players will find themselves setting out on an adventure that spans not only their hometown but the whole world! What kind of people and places await? From the gorgeous beaches of Halo Halo to the snowy mountains of Salmiakki, there’s literally an entire world to explore.
At the moment we only have the official logo artwork to go off. Hopefully we receive more of a closer look at what to expect in the coming weeks.
