Nordic Ware Recognized for Environmental Success
Nordic Ware was awarded the 2015 Manufacturing Award in Sustainability by Minnesota Business Magazine. Nordic Ware, a kitchenware manufacturer based in St. Louis Park, is a privately held company that is on the eve of its 70th year in business. While its creation of the world-famous Bundt® Cake Pan put the company on the map, it is commitment to quality and innovative products, as well as the company’s pledge to manufacture its products in America that sets Nordic Ware apart.
Minnesota Business Magazine collected nominations over a two-month period, and all nominations were reviewed by an external judging panel that consisted of industry experts across all professional platforms. According to the Department of Employment and Economic Development, manufacturing provides more than 292,000 jobs and contributes $37 billion to the state’s economy. Minnesota Business Magazine reports that is why they went in search of the best and brightest manufacturers for their 2015 Manufacturing Awards.
