OFW Family party-list Representative Roy Señeres Sr., 68 years old, passed away early Monday. Señeres’ brother said the lawmaker suffered cardiac arrest, according to an ANC report.
He was earlier rushed to the ICU of the St. Luke’s Medical Center in Taguig City.
Señeres just formally withdrew his bid for the presidency on Friday, Feb. 5.
His lawyer said he was advised by his doctor to avoid stress that could aggravate his long-standing diabetes.
The wake will be held at the Manila Memorial Park.
