Dark Horse has announced a new addition to their Stranger Things library with a new graphic novel called “Stranger Things: Zombie Boys,” set right after the events of the first season. The 72-page book will come out on February of 2020, and tell the story of the boys’ struggle to go back to a normal life after Eleven got rid of the Demogorgon and ended up stranded in the Upside Down. It will feature a new character named Joey Kim, who joins the AV club, and wants to make a horror movie about a certain local legend.
It will be written by veteran Greg Pak (who currently writes “Ronin Island,” “Firefly” and more), and illustrated by artist Valeria Favoccia (who has worked on “Assassin’s Creed: Reflections” and several Doctor Who comics including this year’s FCBD issue) with colorist Dan Jackson, and letterer Nate Piekos.
This is the third comic book based on the beloved Netflix show, after the first two mini-series written by Jody Houser, “The Other Side,” which explored Will’s time in the Upside Down, and “SIX,” a prequel about Francine, a girl with precognition abilities. You can read the solicit below:

The new Spielberg-wannabe friend, Joey Kim, wants to make a horror movie about a local legend, but when he sees Will’s drawings, he discovers that his new friends are local legends.
