Bruno Fernandes has spurned an incredible opportunity to seal Manchester United’s comeback against Arsenal after a penalty was awarded for a handball on Nuno Tavares.
Arsenal took the lead early in the game through the Arsenal left-back and almost instantly doubled their lead through Bukayo Saka.
The returning Cristiano Ronaldo pulled one back shortly afterward after some neat play from Jadon Sancho and United looked to have weathered the storm as the two sides made it to half-time at 2-1.
United came out in the second half as the better side and their dominance paid off when they were awarded a penalty but Fernandes’ penalty was disappointing, as seen below

In hindsight, supporters will be scratching their heads wondering why Ronaldo didn’t take the penalty, especially considering Fernandes’ only previous penalty this season was also missed.
the penalty miss aside.it happens to any player.but the honest truth is this guy has bn very poor for some time now.again we hasten to ask if the hurried recent lucrative contract extension was really necessary at this juncture.
