Now, you’re only human, so it’s perfectly natural for you to be chomping at the bit to download 45 minutes of hot, unrelenting Kid Rock and Scott Stapp sex action. But you can’t – not yet, anyway.
Because Kid Rock has successfully persuaded a federal judge to temporarily block the release of a home-made movie of Rock and Creed singer Scott Stapp engaging in all kinds of mucky business with four female fans. Maybe we’ll never get to see the sex tape. Oh, who are we kidding? Chances are it’ll be all over the internet by the end of the month.
Kid Rock (CDs) and Scott Stapp haven’t really been doing too much of note
musically of late. Kid Rock was famous for about 12 seconds in the UK
five years ago with that Cocky song, and Scott Stapp has been better-known recently for punching a boyband and being drunk in an
airport than for singing his awful songs. But that doesn’t mean that Kid Rock and Scott Stapp are fading
into the background.
Because last week it was announced that a 45-minute sex tape of Kid Rock, Scott Stapp and four young ladies
was about to hit the internet. Apparently filmed in 1999, the tape
showed things that made David Joseph, president of Red Light District –
the company which had acquired the tape – say:
"I wish I was a rock star, I tell you. I’m in the wrong business."
But
we may never get to see exactly what David Joseph was referring to, as
Kid Rock has managed to slap a temporary block on the sex tape, with an
eye on permanently stopping anyone from seeing it. In a recent hearing,
District Judge John Feikens decided that Red Light District had
violated the privacy of Kid Rock and Scott Stapp, and ordered that a
40-second online preview of the sex tape be removed from the internet
until another hearing set for tomorrow.
Previously, Red light District’s David Joseph had claimed that he needed permission from neither Kid Rock or Scott Stapp, as:
"This wasn’t just shot by one person – there were a lot of people
holding the camera. Because of that, it’s not necessary that
we need (Rock and Stapp) to sign off on this."
A
statement reiterated by Red Light District lawyer Ray Tamaddon at the
hearing, when he claimed:
"We had looked into the legal issues and felt
confident that what we were doing was well within our rights."
So maybe we’ll never get to see the Kid Rock/ Scott Stapp sex tape tape. Oh well, at least we can amuse ourselves by watching the Paris Hilton sex tape, or the Fred Durst sex tape, or the Colin Farrell sex tape, or the Britney Spears sex tape – if it even exists, that is.
